HYDROFLOW ENERGY
Emerging In-Pipe Hydro Energy Generation
Hydroflow represents Ecoflow's long-term commitment to expanding sustainable infrastructure solutions
CONCEPT OVERVIEW
Converting Pressure Into Power
Hydroflow Energy is Ecoflow's innovation initiative focused on converting unavoidable pressure losses in water infrastructure into clean, continuous electricity.

Utilities pay for energy twice: once to pressurise water, then to waste it through Pressure Reducing Valves (PRVs). Hydroflow replaces or integrates with PRVs to recover this energy.
PRV's remove tremoundous amounts of energy generated through elevation changes in the pipeline.
Hydraulic Module
In-pipe turbine converts pressure differential into rotational energy while preserving outlet pressure.
Generator Module
Converts rotation into electrical power with high efficiency and compact form.
Power Electronics
Rectification, regulation, and protection — AC or DC output depending on site.
Control & Monitoring
Real-time measurement, diagnostics, and predictive maintenance support.
TECHNOLOGY
Patent-Protected Innovation
Patent Protected
Existing patents in Jordan and USA, with next-generation patent programme filed.
Retrofit Design
Compact factor enables installation into existing PRV chambers without civil work
Halbach Array Generator
Higher efficiency at lower pressure drops — expanding the addressable site base
STRATIGEC VISION
Long-Term Infrastructure Innovation
Hydroflow represents Ecoflow's long-term commitment to expanding sustainable infrastructure solutions. Target market segments include municipal water utilities, industrial facilities, and water treatment plants.

STRATEGY
Go-To-Market Strategy – From Pilots to Scaled Rollout
Pilot & Validate (0–12 months
• Deploy instrumented pilots at high-signal pressure-control sites

• Validate: power output, pressure stability, uptime, maintenance

• Deliver reference sites + performance data

Repeat & Standardise (12–24 months)
• Convert pilots into repeat deployments

•Standardise SKUs by pipe size / output class

• Align sales with PRV maintenance and upgrade cycles

• Offer Energy-as-a-Service to remove capex costs for clients
Partner & Scale (24+ months)
• Scale via EPCs, valve & pump OEMs, smart-water integrators

• Embed Hydroflow Turbine into retrofit and new-build workflows

• Expand multi-site deployments across regions
